How to make some loopy local loot

1. Include delivery in you price. Make it as easy for buyers as possible.
2. Make sure you include every last detail. The more a buyer knows, the faster they'll be to get in touch.
3. Include as many photos as you can.
4. Be honest and open. There's no point hiding any skeletons in your cupboard. They'll be discovered sooner or later and then, boysadear, you'll be for the high jump.
5. Do not hand over goods until you've received full payment. Bit of an obvious one that, but you'd be amazed how often people 'take it on trust.'
6. Never trust an unknown person who contacts you and claims to put you in touch with interested buyers for an advance fee. 99 times out of 100 they are either (a) a liar (b) a big fat liar or (c) a liar, liar with their pants on fire.
7. Cash is the easiest payment method, but unsuitable for large amounts, especially if you're going walkies with your wad to somewhere unfamiliar.
8. Never accept foreign cheques or bank drafts drawn from non UK banks as payment.
